The latest edition of the FIFA World Cup countdown has been released with a big change to the format of the countdown.
The countdown will now be conducted over two days, from June 18 to June 22.
This change has been made in order to ensure that the coverage of the tournament is more comprehensive.
The countdown will begin on June 18, when the game between Germany and Italy is scheduled to kick off.
The following day, Germany and Sweden will be in action.
Then, Italy will face Portugal and the Netherlands, before Germany, Sweden and France will all face each other in the group stage.
Following the match between Germany, Italy and Portugal, Germany will face the Netherlands in the next stage of the event.
After that, Italy, France and Germany will all play the winner of the Group of Death against each other.
The format of these two stages is not yet confirmed.
In the meantime, it seems like the biggest change in the countdown will be the fact that the winner will be announced the day after the match.
It will be revealed in the same week in which the games are to take place.
